Regional Manager (Quality, Operations & P&L) – Mediterranean Region

Salary: €60,000.00 – €73,000 / year + discretionary Bonus + benefits

Location: Hybrid/Remote (Morocco)

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Quality, Operations and P&L Management

My client, a global alliance of quality management specialists in specific product categories that enables customers to meet their compliance goals while managing risk and identifying disruption for growth, is looking for an experienced Regional Manager covering the Mediterranean Region which includes 8-10 countries.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L Management:

• Maintain net contribution at target level
• Control on costs (direct, indirect)
• Control and improve profitability
• Optimize production costs through structural changes and automation
• Pursue implementation of systems to increase productivity
• Save costs in non-efficient areas to maximize / enable better profile in other areas
• Optimize and secure middle management

Operations Management:

• Maximize utilization ratio
• Enable better planning through anticipation, further training, and guidance to teams, automation of scheduling
• Maximize efficiencies on inspections and audits
• Centralized management of contract and due diligence
• Bring field teams to next level of expertise through training and qualification programs
• Empowerment of middle management
• Empower operations management to be involved in customer meetings and reviews

Performance of Field and Back-Office Teams (Customer Satisfaction + Claims & Complaints):

• Improve overall customer satisfaction by reducing claims and complaints
• Keep claims ratio below 0.2%
• Ensure proper start with new big customers in coordination with sales and KAM through kickoff meetings, training, SOP validations

Expertise Development:

• Transition from QC to Inspectors to QA to QE
• Work with technical team to build the learning journey and qualification
• Develop expertise on main categories aligning with sales and lab strategies
• Implement expert technical audit team

Contribution to Business Growth:

• Provide solutions to support sourcing and supplier management
• Create more added value solutions
• Develop expert technical audits
• Reinforce fast-to-market audit and solutions
• Develop new solutions and services based on customer challenges and field knowledge

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and French
• Proven experience in a quality inspection leadership role within an international context
• Experience in the Fashion Textile or Manufacturing Textile industry
• Strong knowledge of inspection and audit practices with a focus on customer service and P&L management
• Expertise in the softline industries, with understanding of global market trends and customer expectations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership with capability to guide regional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or international experience preferred
