We are hiring an “Accounting Specialist” in Casablanca, Morocco
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
Good knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience in bank reconciliations, vendor accounts, invoicing, and payment processes
Familiarity with VAT, WHT, and tax-related procedures
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong MS Office skills
Strong communication and coordination skills
Good command of English (written and spoken)
Job Description
Daily sales controlling and booking
Daily follow-up of collections (Cash & Card)
Monthly sales reconciliation with the bank and debit card service provider
Invoices checking and posting
Supplier’s payment process
Vendor accounts reconciliation
Expenses reports booking
Employees accounts analysis and clearing
Permanent/Temporary advances posting and payment
Import files posting
Customs checks preparation, Customs account analysis, and clearing FISCAL
VAT and WHT monthly calculation and declaration
Preparation of checks for other taxes
Taxes accounts analysis
Supporting the chief accountant and the other departments
Help in the audit process
