Location Overview
Join our team in Amanjena. Inspired by the rose-hued buildings of old Marrakech, palatial Amanjena is close to the fabled Red City, set in its own expanse of gardens and grand open spaces. Shaded courtyards with fountains lead to the central basin, bordered by spacious standalone Pavilions & Maisons, many with private pools. Views stretch across the olive groves and palms of the oasis, extending to the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon.
Role
The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa and plays a key role in creating a calm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere. This role involves managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the spa, all while delivering outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Schedule spa appointments efficiently and accurately using the booking system
- Provide detailed information about spa treatments, products, and promotions
- Answer phone calls and emails, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with special requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing and records
- Coordinate with spa therapists and management to ensure seamless guest flow and service
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting area
- Promote retail products and support sales goals
- Monitor staffing schedules, leave (days off, public holidays) and absence sheets (accidents, illnesses, vacations, public holidays, miscellaneous)
- Report guest feedback to the SPA Manager regarding services, prices, quality, etc.
- Monitor booking schedules daily
- Evaluate guest satisfaction through daily face-to-face discussions
- Handle guest complaints
- Propose new concepts to guests
- Detect product non-conformities and adjust the product range accordingly
- Monitor the cleanliness of the stock and ensure all products are properly labeled
- Control the level of hygiene and cleanliness of the Spa premises
- Ensure the proper maintenance of the stockroom and linens
- Ensure the proper functioning of the treatment rooms
- Ensure that staffing levels are in line with activity (drawing up and/or checking attendance schedules)
- Ensure that all information relating to important clients is correctly transmitted
Requirements
- Diploma in hospitality, tourism or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Proficiency in reservation systems
- Professional grooming and strong customer-service attitude
