Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Complete all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges. Handle guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed. Provide guests with directions and information regarding the property and local attractions. Run daily reports, identify special requests, and ensure accuracy.
Handle cashier duties, including closing reports, cashing checks, balancing and dropping receipts. Follow all safety and security procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, address their needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.
Communicate professionally, answer phones using proper etiquette, and maintain positive relationships with colleagues. Meet quality assurance expectations. Be prepared for physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Perform other duties as requested.
