Job Purpose

Carries necessary calculations and payroll data entry payments and adjustments efficiently ensuring timely processing. Assists in delivering a smooth payroll process from entry to end of service with a focus on confidentiality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction in accordance with Air Arabia policies and procedures.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Ensure payroll transactions are accurately and timely entered and processed.
• Prepare all necessary entries for monthly payroll and ensure accurate impact on payroll.
• Generate and process pension payments for GCC employees and coordinate with Finance.
• Coordinate with HR and Line Managers on employee exits to ensure completion of formalities and documentation.
• Manage salaries for GSAs, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with agreements.
• Ensure adherence to tax laws for employees stationed in applicable countries.
• Notify HR and training coordinators of staff changes for training purposes.

Continued Responsibilities

• Analyze and propose approval for advance payments based on policy.
• Track sick leaves and verify supporting documentation monthly.
• Approve and process education reimbursements and housing allowance claims.
• Review attendance system records and ensure data accuracy for payroll processing.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of all transactions and files.
• Verify accuracy of payment-related transactions initiated by other departments.
• Maintain payroll records electronically and generate related analytical reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, Statistics, or Administration preferred; diploma with experience acceptable.
• Experience working in a regional or multinational mid-sized organization.
• Knowledge of HR Payroll systems, HRIS software such as Taleo, SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle ERP.
• Domain knowledge of airline HR systems is a plus.
• Training/certification in Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting, and Auditing advantageous.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic a plus.

Work Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in HR, preferably in Airlines / Travel / Tourism.
• At least 2 years of payroll-specific experience required.
• Experience handling payroll in a regionally or globally operating mid-sized organization.
